Celebrity Akuapem Poloo have finally break her silence. In a media engagement, the celebrity expressed her sincre appreciation to President Akuffo Addo for considering her plight and listening to the several petitions for the president to entertain in her 90 day sentence.
The celebrity also expressed profound gratitude to Minister for Attorney General, Mr Godfred Dame for his support in whatever assistance he and his office offered her during the entire court process and her subsequent release from prison.
It will be recalled that, the celebrity, Akuapem Poloo was convicted by an Accra based high court after pleading guilty of all charges leveled against her.
Akuapem Poloo was dragged to court by a child rights advocate group led by Bright Appiah for indecent exposure of her seven year old boy in nude picture. According to the child rights International, the move was not appropriate and exposes the child to unwarranted public ridicule.
Poloo has since been granted bail after Lawyers filed for an appeal application at the Court.
