Ghana international Christian Atsu in talks to sign for Accra Hearts of Oak

Former Ghana international Christian Atsu is in talks with premier club Accra Hearts of Oak on a possible transfer to the Phobians.

Atsu, is a free agent after ending his stay with Saudi Arabian side Al-Raed in the Arab world.

News in the local media said, Atsu is willing to play for the Phobians next season if the talks are successful.

It is believed, Atsu is being urged to join the capital club by another former Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari who is on the books of the Phobians.

Another former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom is also on the books of Accra Hearts of Oak and, Atsu will have good company should he join the capital club.

The player has vast experience playing in Europe and, his inclusion in the Hearts of Oak setup will be a huge boost to the club next season.

The Phobians are looking to improve on their squad for next season as they hope to compete on all fronts domestically and in their African campaign.

Coach Samuel Boadu will welcome the inclusion of Atsu to his squad for next season with his ball playing skills expected to keep the Phobians going.

Accra Hearts of Oak will begin their preseason campaign next week to prepare for next season.
