An old lady in her 60s crashed to death by a motorbike at Bincheratanga along the Eastern Corridor road in the Nanumba North municipal of the Northern region today, Monday 1st August 2022.
The old lady was knocked down in her attempt to cross the road by the motorist who was riding along the road.
The motorist was at speed and could not control his motorbike upon seeing the deceased so he accidentally run into her and she died instantly on the road.
The matter was reported to the police and the motorist was arrested for further investigations to be conducted to ascertain the rationale behind the accident.

However, the corps of the deceased was released for burial according to the Muslim tradition.
The incident occurred at Bincheratanga Community.
Since the construction of that road, a lot of people have been in accidents with a lot of injuries and several others losing their lives.
