The teachers of Ghana have been welcomed by a good news from the government of Ghana today as news broke out that the promise of a Laptop for teachers in Ghana is gradually being fulfilled.
One might have imagined that upon all the other projects that the government of Ghana under the Akuffo Addo led government has put in place to fulfill, the promise of a Laptop to teachers could be forgotten.
Today, as the vice president presented the laptop in a ceremony, well-meaning Ghanaians took to social media to express their observations on the project. Although there were certain images of the teachers laptop circulated on social media, no one could clearly tell whether or not those were the actual images.
As the Laptops were unpacked today, Facebook users brought out this observation that the image of the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo was not embossed on it.
It can be recollected that during the reign of the National Democratic Congress in which the Better Ghana Agenda was launched and Laptops distributed, the image of the sitting president was embossed on the Laptops.
Most Ghanaians might have thought that the current Laptops could be embossed as was done earlier. But what we might not have imagined is the fact that the current Laptops are being distributed by a different political party with different points of view. This is what Facebook users said as they made the observation.
Bright Aheto in his comment recommended that the initiative was good and also added that he could not at least find the president's image on this particular laptop. For him to say this one, could mean he was possibly comparing it with another one.
Francis was also quick to remind the government that the basic school teachers also needed the Laptops and so they should be provided with some.
Kay Baah also brought out the revelation that instead of the president's image, it is embossed with the flag of Ghana.
The presentation of the Laptop today has garnered a lot of Reactions from people and in this situation, the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo was praised.
Is this a sign that Nana Addo is fixing the country?
