The pants and sighs of Kumasi Asante Kotoko came to an end when they crossed the bridge to the top of the league by beating the best home side.

The win yesterday has taken the club to the top of the league. Supporters who wished to be on top of the league can now rest and only hope for the better.

Kotoko leads with 23 points, followed by Karela United, Bechem United, Accra Great Olympics, and Aduana Stars.

This is a special boost for the team ahead of their game against ES Setif in the African Confederation Cup.

After the game the club wrote on their Twitter handle;

“FULL TIME Crucial points and another clean sheet on the road at Karela United in a game that serves us a sweet revenge from a defeat here in May 2018.

“If records refuse to be broken...shatter them”

Is the confidence of Kumasi Asante Kotoko back?
