Accra Hearts of Oak wins the Ghana premier league title after a decade of wait with a game to spare.

The long wait is over as Accra Hearts of Oak led by master tactician Samuel Boadu claims the Ghana Premier League Title for the first time in about a decade.

This team has shown tremendous character in the second round when the local coach took over. The likes of Ibrahim Salifu, Benjamin Afutu, Patrick Razak, Afriyie Barnieh, Samuel Attah, Raddy Ovouka among others deserves a big plaudits after reaching such a mile stone with the capital club.

It was a sort of a coronation match between Hearts and Liberty Proffessionals. Afriyie scored first and sent the Phobians into frenzy. Liberty will come back and equalise but then results from elsewhere with Bechem United beating Kumase Asante Kotoko all but secured the league title for Accra Hearts of Oak with a game in hand.

Well done Phobians and congratulations.
