Ghanaians React After Nana Aba Anamoah Expresses That She Prefers Male Gynaecologists

Nana Aba Anamoah is one of the top tier media personalities who doesn' t shy away to discuss important issues in the country. She has used her confidence and courage to advocate for many developmental projects and has used her platform and connections to find employment for some youth who have impressed her in one way or the other.

Nana Aba has however shown that her confidence in discussing issues also extends to her private life and well- being.

Nana Aba caused a massive reaction on social media platforms after she commented that she prefers male gynaecologists.

Why Nana Aba' s Statement Surprised Ghanaians

This surprised Ghanaians mainly because of two reasons.

Firstly, due to Gynecologists job of diagnosing and treating reproductive system disorders such as endometriosis, infertility, ovarian cysts, etc. they often thus come into contact with the private parts of ladies. Ladies would thus usually prefer for female gynaecologists to attend to them rather than a male based on comfort.

Secondly, even if you do enjoy having a male gynaecologist treat you, it is a private subject of which if revealed will create the impression that you enjoy the male service beyond just a health or expertise basis.

Ghanaians Reactions

@Isaacackam23 comments that " This lady wants to cause trouble for here. Let me pretend as if I didn' t read this post. "

@Pagez_One comments that " I am sure it' s because of naughty reasons"

@nickKwaku also backs up Nana Aba' s statements by also mentioning that he also prefers being treated by a female doctor the same Nana Aba prefers a male gynaecologist. He adds that it is easier to relax and start a conversation with the opposite gender.

@KwameDuncan remarks that her statements will be in the headlines as it was highly not expected from her and a very sensitive issue to publicly state.
