Journalist and TV Presenter at TV XYZ, Okatakyie Afrifa has served a strong notice to government concerning the recent hardships in the country and their plan to visit IMF for financial support.
Speaking on his show, "Abranaa So" this morning, Okatakyie Afrifa clearly revealed that he campaigned massively for the MP for Ejisu constituency, Mr. John Kumah, who now doubles and the deputy Finance Minister.
According to Okatakyie Afrifa, he gave his full support to John Kumah to win the elections in Ejisu constituency. He added that the past MPs in that constituency proved to their people that they are working. Due to this Okatakyie Afrifa also believed in John Kumah and campaigned for him massively.
Okatakyie Afrifa showed displeasure in the MP and revealed that John Kumah has failed him. He added that John Kumah and his team have deceived Ghanaians into believing that the e-levy was the saviour of the economy. He dropped a video to show what John Kumah said in parliament about the e-levy.
In the video, John Kumah clearly revealed that the e-levy was going to save the Ghanaian economy. He added that the e-levy will reduce the debt level of the country and also stop the country from further borrowing.
Okatakyie Afrifa then made it clear to him that he will never campaign for him again. He believes that John Kumah has destroyed the reputation he has as a member of Parliament in the Ejisu constituency.
