Asamoah Gyan is a legend and we all know it. But thinking of playing for the Black Stars again is a lose lose situation.
Asamoah Gyan is the only African player who has scored six(6) goals in his world cup encounters breaking Roger Milla's long holding record.
The Ex Black Stars player currently plays for Legon Cities FC in the Ghana Premier League and is not even a regular start up player, funny enough he is thinking of playing for the Black Stars.
Asamoah Gyan has payed his quota to the Nation and is a legend and must remain as such and not taint his integrity with playing for the Black Stars again.
As it stands now Asamoah Gyan is not fit and has gained weight as well. So thinking of playing for the Black stars should not be an option for him. He can join the Black Stars perhaps as a member of the technical team or coaching staff to help train the strikers as the players respect him a lot. Gyan can use two(2) months to reduce weight if he is discipline taking into consideration his mesomorph body type.
Asamoah Gyan can not play up to 20 minutes even when given the chance to play for Black Stars during the 2022 African Cup of Nations. Gyan cannot run , He can not run fast enough to get to a ball passed to him.He can train and train to gain fitness but he can not be as fit as he was when he took the Black Stars to the numerous World Cup and African Cup.
Asamoah Gyan you are a legend, please stay a Legend.
