My husband recently confessed to lying to me about only having one child outside of our marriage. I'd come to recognize this child as a member of our household.
However, I've recently learned that he has three children from a previous relationship. Worse still, he's been hiding this woman from me at his mother's place.
When I asked him about it, he said that they were no longer together, which makes no sense since the youngest child is the same age as my second.
Why is she still living at his mother's house if he says the child isn't his? I'm both frustrated and perplexed.
My husband has betrayed my faith, and confronting this issue and finding a solution will take a lot of time, effort, and energy on both of our parts. It's obvious that he's been lying to me from the start.
What's more perplexing is that it seems that his family is still involved. It seems that I've been in an unwittingly polygamous marriage, and my husband needs to provide me with answers.
Why does the woman continue to live with him and his family? Why is it that they have a child who was born after we married? He needs to be open and frank with me so that I understand all that is going on.
