Agyin Asare Celebrates Legendary Gospel Musician Helena Rabbles as She Marks Her 60th Birthday

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician, Helena Esi Mends, popularly known as Helena Rabbles turned 60 years today.

Helena Rabbles is known for popular hits songs such as "Satan Don Fall for Ground ooh Macha Macha, So So Wonders, Kokromoti, Ye Wo Oman etc.

Helena Rabbles was very instrumental in the Ghanaian gospel music around the early 90s until 1998 when she relocated to the United States after painfully breaking up with her husband in 1995.

Helena Rabbles whose maiden name is Helena Esi Mends was born on the 26th of November 1961, making her 60 years today. 

She was born in Egyia, a small town near Saltpond, in the Central Region of Ghana, but stayed in Sekondi Takoradi during her formative years. 

Returning back to Ghana early this year, this great legendary musician has revealed recently that, she has come back not just to continue her music career but to impact the lives of the younger generation through mentorship. 

Indicating that, she is ready to mentor young people who are aged between 5 and 29 years. 

She has also released a comeback music titled “My Testimony’, which was recorded in Washington DC, USA.

Today, Madam Helena organized an executive breakfast meeting with great personalities in the gospel music industry such as, Cindy Thompson, Empress Gifty Adorye, Nii Okai etc. 

Present to grace the occasion was Bishop Charles Agyin Asare who helped her cut her 60th birthday cake. 

Bishop Charles Agyin Asare took the guest through a beautiful memory lane, sharing some of the great memories of Madam Helena with the guests. 

He indicated how Helena Rabbles was very instrumental in the 1980s and the 90s, singing some of her hits songs effortlessly. 

Empress Gifty also performed some of Madam Helena Rabbles songs including "Ye Wo Oman Bi Wo Ho". 

Indeed, Madam Helena Rabbles has contributed to the spiritual growth of Ghanaians through her timeless songs.
