Recently, there has been so many debates with regard to who takes over the mantle from the current flagbearer and President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
We all know the details of this recent escapade, hence I would not like to delve into that side of the story.
In accordance with the recent back and forth that has was witnessed, some party associates who are in support of Bawumia's candidature, have expressed their view on the likelihood of his succession.
According to the comments made by a die hard fan of Bawumia, the late Sir John has confirmed his eligibility to lead the party in the 2024 election, from the spiritual realm.
The leader of the support group specifically created for the vice president, Duncan Boateng, indicated that, he can recall the moment Sir John stated Bawumia will become the next flagbearer of the NPP.
Mr. Duncan said their decision to attend his burial ceremony was to authenticate what he said when he was alive.
In addition to this, he made some references, by drawing the attention of listeners to the time Sir John prophesied about Nana Addo's presidential victory.
He said looking at Bawumia's humble behavior and his dedication towards serving the nation, they feel it is appropriate to support him with everything they have.
