Smartphones play a significant role in our lives. They have pros and cons. Don't forget that smartphones pose more danger to us. In effect, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. There are a few mistakes that we all make while using our phones. To avoid or reduce the severity of these problems, please read intently the following blunders and try to avoid them.
1. Keeping it near your skin: The skin absorbs heat from the phone in small amounts. Bringing your phone nearby for a long time can be very damaging to your skin. Phones emit radiation which is dangerous to the skin on long exposure.
2. Being exposed to blue light for a longer period: Smartphones emit what appears to be blue light at night. This blue light suppresses the hormones that control the body's sleep cycle. It also contributes to headache and vision disorders. You are advised to reduce the brightness of your phone to avoid health hazards.
3.Sleeping with your phone: Phones emit electromagnetic transmitter and receiver. These strong waves can affect the brain negatively when you're exposed to them for a long time. If possible, you are advised to switch off your phone or leave it in another room, or put it in airplane mode or put it far from you when going to bed.
4. Using it when the signal is weak: Weak signals are more dangerous than strong ones. Try using your phone more when the signal is good.
5. Poor posture when looking at your phone: Most of us tend to bend our necks forward while looking on the phone. This practice puts a strain on your cervical spine. As a result, the head may begin to weigh 5 times heavier than normal.
It's important to hold your head up while keeping the neck straight.
