West Africa's Investigative journalist and producer of BBC's investigative documentaries, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is celebrating his 43rd birthday today. Consequent to this celebration, he had shared a powerful message to inspire Ghanaians and his followers across the globe to beleive in themselves.
Referencing a quote by former US President, Barack Obama, "We don't ask you to believe in our ability to bring change, rather, we ask you to believe in yours”, the investigative journalist did not only remind Ghanaians about the inner power they have to make a difference, he also reflected on his life and the accomplishments over the past years.
With his famous motto; "name, shame and jail", Anas Aremeyaw Anas had earned great respect and reputation for uncovering crimes in Ghana and across Africa.
As much as hundreds wish him good, others were highly critical of his actions and inactions recently.
One Akwasi Kyei Boamah argued that the ace invesgative journalist had been targeting people and denigrating them, a conduct he prayed changes going forward.
"Charity begins at home, the best way is to change from targeting people and bringing peoples down."
Prince Tags who also commented on Anas' post indicated that the journalist nicknamed 'Tiger' has been tamed. He mocked that Anas Aremeyaw Anas has lost the force to 'bite' on persons who wrong the country.
"The tiger has lost its teeth ,lot at the corruption in our system now ,is the tiger now afraid of the hawks. Why can't the tiger expose the wicked anymore .....our country bleeds ,tiger let your teeth grow fast and sharp ....anyways happy birthday," he wrote.
