The MTN FA Cup competition started a few weeks ago and the competition has seen a lot of strong sides play against one another.
The competition started with quite a large number of teams, from various regions in the country but after several games being played between all the teams, only eight (8) teams are left in the competition. The list is dominated by Premier League sides with six (6) out of the eight (8) clubs that have qualified for the MTN FA Cup quarter finals. A Division One side and Division Two side have also booked a place in the quarter finals. Below is the list of the eight (8) quarter finalists:
1. Asante Kotoko SC (Premier League)
2. Medeama SC (Premier League)
3. Ashanti Gold SC (Premier League)
4. Accra Hearts of Oak SC (Premier League)
5. Kintampo Top Talent FC (Division One)
6. Elmina Sharks FC (Premier League)
7. Attram De Visser Soccer Academy (Division Two)
8. Berekum Chelsea FC (Premier League)
