Dr Kweku Frimpong affectionally known as champion, the owner and the financiar of Obuasi Ashanti Gold has come out to state that he has been charged in the match fixing scandal for no reason as he claim he's done nothing to be charged.
Champion and son Emmanuel kweku Frimpong were together charged by the Ghanaian Football Association for their part's played in the match many believed was fixed against then relegated already International Allies.
Ashanti Gold owner speaking to BBC Africa after been charged said he and his son have done nothing to be charged and went on further to state that, 5 - 0 score line is normal in football as his club Ashanti Gold have recorded more of such scorelines in the just ended season and also don't see why he should be given a ban after an opponent intentionally score 2 own goals.
In conclusion, he labelled all as a way to tarnish his hard earned image and also jealousy on some part of people.
