There have been another Armed robbery incident in Takoradi. This happened recently in Takoradi, involving the life of a Taxi driver, Raymond Otchere, who works around Sekondi Takoradi.
Raymond on one of his errands with his Toyota Yaris Taxi registered as WR 766-21 was stopped by a stranger who wanted the driver to take him to Kojokrom, a surburb of Sekondi Takoradi.
According to the taxi driver, the stranger who happens to be a man was dressed in all black attire and told the driver to continue the ride to Essikadu to meet someone.
They got there and the driver was asked to drive to Sekondi, where this stranger left the car, came back and asked the driver to take him back to Kojokrom.
On their way back, the stranger pulled a gun and fired a shot, which went to the rib of the driver, believed to be 32 years of age, making him unconscious.
As the Armed Robbery decided to take the driver out and take his car away, he gained consciousness, driving the car away with the gun inside the car, leaving the Armed Robber in the middle of the road.
The Police is investigating into the matter, as the Armed Robber is not found yet.
