A stepfather has burn 11 year old boy to death while leaving the mother and other siblings in serious condition in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
According to the Landlord of the house,Agyemang,45 year old man has always been picking quarrels with the fiancée he has been staying with at Meduma in the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly.
Agyemang was allegedly seen sprinkling petrol on the room and finally set the room ablaze that burnt the entire room.
The landlord, Daniel Opoku who narrated the incident said he was able to save the fiancée and the two other siblings but couldn't do same to the boy due to the intensity of the fire.
''I heard the screams and shouts around 12:00 am as she repeatedly saying she was dying .She said Agyemang was killing her as he sprinkled petrol on the room and set the fire ablaze just to kill her and her children".
"So i woke up and went to rescue her and saw the fire spreading. So i opened the room and saw the fire spreading of which i brought the fiancée out but couldn't save the other boy who got burnt by the fire"
However, the fire service personnel were called to the scene but they could not get to the scene due to the intensity of the fire.
However, the charred body of the 11 year old boy has been deposited in a moque at the Ankaase Methodist Hospital while the mother and the other siblings are undertaking treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
