There have been arguments on the passing of the Anti LGBTQ+ bill. The Anti LGBTQI+ bill is a propaganda to criminize LGBTQI+ campaigns in Ghana.
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, has failed to comment on his view on the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill currently before parliament.
He claims to be the majority leader and, in essence, the leader of parliament, so commenting on the bill on the media will come off as prejudiced.
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, a lawmaker for the Suame constituency, made the announcement during an appearance on Okay FM in Accra.
He explained that because the majority leader is also the speaker of the house, whatever comments he makes will be understood as representing the parliament's position.Making such statements will be very prejudicial.
