Sister Afia is known to be one of the most successful musicians in Ghana. The actual name of Sister Afia is Francisca Gawugah. She became popular after she released one of her songs titled jeje of which she featured Shatta Wale. She was born on the 7th of January, 1992. Sister Afia who s also known as Francisca Gawugah grew up at Accra but she attended Reverend John Teye Memorial Institution before she went to UK to further in nursing.
In the year 2015, this beautiful lady returned from UK to Ghana to begin her music career. She was inspired by Bisa Kdei. Sister Afia has won a lot of awards and nominations in the past years.
