It takes someone really brave to be a mother, someone strong to raise a child and someone so special to love a child more than herself. Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while but in their hearts forever. May the good lord continue to bless and keep all mothers safe from the evil one, may your good heart and loving kindness never Fade, Mums.
May you leave longer to enjoy the fruit of your Labour. We appreciate you for your loving and humble spirit. Your love for God and genuine heart makes you all a blessing. You’re amazing. Keep shining. Godsbrain Smart the ace broadcaster, has celebrated mothers on his new Smart TV station. He appreciated both former and current President's and Vice President's wives.
He first mentioned Madam Rebecca Akuffo Addo and indicated that, he really admires her calm nature and demeanor with her enormous contribution towards the construction of the maternity ward at Kumasi. He added, Ghana would remember. Other notable names mentioned, were Mrs. Amissah Arthur, Lordina Mahama whom he described as a mother who also contributed to the welfare of women, Samira Bawumia and his mom Aggie.
He thanked her mom for raising him up without fear and Akosua Sikapa Smart his beloved wife. His appreciation was focused on the enormous contribution of Madam Theresah Kufour for fighting for pregnant women and initiated the maternal mortality program to reduce the death of women in labour wards.
She travelled to the UK and negotiated for us to get free maternal health care. He then asked a very relevant question: What plans do our politicians have for pregnant women on mother's. You don't think and when we say it you say we are insulting. He concluded by asking "What happened to the maternal mortality free health care and National health insurance scheme started by Ex president Kufuor"?
