Lavinia Mounga is a woman from Utah who had the shock of her life after discovering she was pregnant for nine months. It all began on Wednesday, April 28 as Mounga boarded a plane to Hawaii with her family when she started to experience contractions in her womb.
Julia Hansen a Tiktok user announced the news saying,” A baby was just born on this plane.” In a video recorded on the plane, people were seen jubilating and congratulating the new mother for her successful delivery.
Hansen also revealed that he had sat near the dad of the baby.
“To those wondering how she was able to fly in her third trimester, I sat next to her dad on the plane, and he said they didn’t even know she was pregnant.” Julia Hansen stated
Able nurses and doctors who were on the plane at the time of the contractions helped in the delivery process.
A woman identified as Lani Banfield, a nurse from Kansas City also took to her Facebook account to announce the news.
“If anyone would like to know how our trip to Hawaii is going, here’s how it started. We delivered a 26-27 weeker in the airplane bathroom in the middle of the ocean, three NICU nurses, a physician assistant, and a family medicine doctor, we were able to make it three hours before we could finally land but the baby and mom did great”, Lani revealed.
