A South African woman has been trending on social media after she gave birth to 10 children, breaking the Guinness World record previously held by a Malian woman who had given birth to 9 children last month.
Her husband Teboho Tsotetsi noted that the children comprised of 7 boys and 3 girls.
The woman who was said to have previously given birth to twins 6 years ago noted that she was not on any fertility treatment and as such, her pregnancy was natural.
She noted the pain she went through during her pregnancy saying her leg used to feel pains.
She and her husband noted their doubtfulness when doctors told them that she would be having 8 babies after scans was conducted on her, though it came out to be 10.
She and her husband alluded to the fact that they have only heard of twins, triplets, quadruplet but not more than that.
The babies are said to be placed on incubator at the hospital.
