Curtis Means a boy from Alabama who is known in medical records across the globe to have survived serious health conditions after being born twenty-one weeks after the mother's conception is the mastermind behind this article.

He was born 132 days premature on 5 July 2020, with a twin who didn't survive. The twin brother actually died the next day after birth, and this alone made people comment about Curtis Means as a special child. Many people said he was born to change the world because no child in history till now has ever been born like him. All children who were born just like him never made it over a week, but he did.

After being delivered at Birmingham, Alabama, the doctor said he was weighing just 420g (14.8 ounces) which means he was very light as compared to a normal human being. Dr Brian Sims, who was at the birth, said statistics show a baby born, so young has virtually no chance of survival, but Curtis beat the odds.

And because of his condition, he is always on the mother's chest until 275 days, after which he has been discharged from the hospital. The mother was very happy to carry him home to show his other brothers and other family members. But this never ended the situation.

Because, Curtis Means could not eat with his own mouth, he still relied on the help of the therapists even after the discharge. This was what Dr. Brain Sims said "We do not know what all the future will hold for Curtis since there is no one else like him,"

"He started writing his own story the day he was born. That story will be read and studied by many and, hopefully, will help improve care of premature infants around the world."
