One of the most sacred aspects of a woman's life is her menstrual cycle. When a woman's intimate organ bleeds for a few days throughout her menstrual cycle, this is known as her period. For the most part, it only lasts for a few days at most. While for most women, this occurs every 28 days, it is typical for periods to be irregular.

Many women can tell whether their bodies are ready for pregnancy by their menstrual cycle. 2. Alcohol.

Many women like a glass of wine or other alcoholic beverages during their period, but research has shown that this can hurt your hormone levels. According to "WebMD", Alcohol can enhance the body's estrogen and testosterone production. Premenstrual syndrome symptoms can be worsened by excessive use of one or both.

3. Prepared Meals.

When you're having a period, it's best to steer clear of processed meals. Cramps can be made worse by food additives. Inflammation in the body can be exacerbated by trans fats, also known as hydrogenated oils, which are added to processed meals. Prevent problematic period symptoms by eating more whole foods, lean proteins, fruits, and veggies.
