A 39 years old woman narrates how her husband divorced her after they gave birth to 11 children and he doesn't take care of the children. In the woman's narration, after she got married to her husband, they went to stay in Kumasi, and they were blessed with 11 children but her husband did not work to support her in catering to all those children.
She used to sell at the roadside to get money to buy food and other basic things their children needs. She again got pregnant for their twelve children but this time she pleaded with her husband to buy medicine for her to do an abortion because she knows that the man will not give her any money for her antenatal. Even after she gave birth, she is the one who pays for the hospital bills, the man agreed with her and got the medicine for her but she has been bleeding continuously after she did the abortion.
The woman claimed that they had a misunderstanding after her husband tried to punish one of their children. Her husband then divorced her and went back to his hometown to marry another woman who also has six children. The man too said it is true that he has got married to another woman but it is due to his wife's attitude. He also revealed that their church doctrine doesn't support family planning that's why they have given birth to 11 children but he will try and support his ex-wife to take care of all the children.
