This morning on my way to work using motorway, I was really marveled and sad at the same time to see kids who are supposed to be revising their books since their one vacation are crossing the Tema motorway simply in search of water. Because it's a highway, you'll bear me witness how dangerous it is for even adults to cross it.
Unfortunately for the ordinary Ghanaian who doesn't have enough to buy a poly tank or a big barrel to store water, they are the ones who mostly face such dangerous challenges. Some actually have barrels in which they store water, but because of the long water shortage, almost everybody has exhausted theirs.
These kids are the future of this country, their lives needs to be protected. Parents should equally be conscious how they send their kids on certain errands. Situations like this are not safe to involve kids.
Ghana Water Company, please respond to the plight of Ghanaians for we are thirsting. Water is life.
Dissatisfied Ghanaians are asking, how soon will water start flowing?
