Children are a gift from God, as they say, and it is every couple's ambition to have children once they marry. Children provide joy to the family while also bringing significant changes to the life of their parents. Women who have children grow in responsibility and acquire an unconditional love and care for their children. They would go to any length to protect and ensure their safety since they understand how difficult it is to become pregnant and give birth.
However, some women go through childbirth and their child is born with birth defects. A birth defect is a condition in which your newborn baby develops abnormal internal or external changes. Birth defects can be serious or not, and they can affect a child's appearance, internal organ development, and mental development.
They are most common during the first three months of pregnancy and woman in South Africa has given birth to a child with a birth defect.
According to our source, the 20-year-old mother gave birth to a child with the face of an 80-year-old. This should not happen under normal conditions because newborns are not intended to have the face of an adult, especially with wrinkles.
This is simply a birth defect outcome, and it can be caused by anything from the parent's genetics to infection or drug exposure while the mother was pregnant. But unfortunately, the majority of birth defect causes remain unknown. This is a distressing condition for both the mother and the infant because they are unsure whether or not the child's face will return to normal as he grows.
And for the woman, we pray that the community in which she lives will accept her and her baby without prejudice, and that the child will grow up to be a blessing to the mother and the community they live in despite the facial condition.
