Shatta Michy told Halifax on Okay FM's Best Entertainment program that she never went to senior high school and instead went straight to a tertiary institution.
Shatta Wale's baby mama made this known when she went over to promote her new single, 'Nautica.' She also used the opportunity to urge parents not to replicate the same thing with their children, no matter how smart they are.
“I will advise parents that regardless of how smart their children are if the child is smart enough to leave JHS for University, consider that the child may be smart but not mentally ready,” she said.
She went on to say that in her case, she had a lot of freedom, which she took advantage of to the fullest.
”In my case, it was the freedom; it's as if you've been caged at home for so long, and then all of a sudden you're at university. This is the freedom I was looking for at the age of sixteen.”
Michy further said that she did marketing at the University of Wisconsin, at that time she was pregnant. Moreover, she revealed that she has a Cambridge certificate but because of her tattoo, she doesn’t consider that as part of her C.V.
