You will not be Able to get a loan if you are owing any telecommunication network: Bank of Ghana
Just recently, one of the telecommunication network in Ghana known as MTN decided to cancel all SIMS which has not been registered by Ghana card. Hell broke loose in this country, when this was said because there were many complaints which made them relax a little bit.
Now the Bank of Ghana has issued an information that, to those who own any telecommunication network and hasn't paid will not be given any loan from any bank he or she visits. This is because many Ghanaians have taken the sim cancellation as an excuse not to pay their debt.
Therefore any Ghanaian who has it in mind that he or she will not pay his or her debt before they cancel the sim, will not be able to get loan from any bank.
In my opinion I am urging all Ghanaians owing any telecommunication network especially MTN should pay all their debt before they cancel the sim.
