Today we are going to look at the mandatory uses of the National Identification Card which most of the people in the country knows it as Ghana Card. When the registration of the Ghana Card started, the National Identification Authority informed the general public that, everyone should take part in the registration because, a time will come the National Identification Card will be used for all the transactions that will require National ID. Now the National Identification Authority has come out to informed the general public all the transactions the National Identification Card (Ghana Card) will be used for. That is all the mandatory uses of the Ghana Card.
According to the National Identification Authority, the Ghana Card issued to an individual shall be used for application for and issuance of a passport, application for and issuance of a driver's license, transactions pertaining to individuals in respect of pensions, payment of taxes, transactions that have Social security implications and many more.
