You Banned Rallies Yet You Broke The Law To Campaign For Votes- Samson Lardi Anyeni.

Recently, a befitting funeral was held for Sir John at Sakura Wonoo. Important personalities such as Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, Dr. Mahamodou Bawumia, Asiedu Nketsia and other top NPP stalwarts made appearances at the funeral. Several people from far and near also made a point to attend the funeral. That was really a good and actually a nice way of bidding farewell to this industrious man.

However, the multitude of people who attended the funeral totally contrasted with the funeral restriction law made by the executive instrument which only allowed not more than 25 people at a private funeral. The breaching of social distancing protocol and the flouting of the nose mask wearing protocol was a common feature at that event. This got people commenting.

Samson sent a very strong message to the president. He titled his message, "Where is the leadership, Mr. President?"

"You banned rallies yet you broke the law campaigning for votes. We saw you politicians break the law with impunity but only poor citizens got arrested with fines and jail forms for not wearing the masks. Recently the Christ Embassy Church got into trouble for breaking the law which you keep renewing each month. For very good reasons, you have banned funeral, allowing only private burial with only 25 participants". He sadly stated
