

The New Patriotic Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman, Ekow Quansah has been laid to rest today November 28, 2020.

Dignitaries that attended the event include President Akuffo Addo, Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia, Speaker of Parliament Mike Aaron Ocquaye, the general secretary John Boadu, and other Members of Parliament.

A tribute was read on behalf of the New Patriotic Party by it's Secretary John Boadu who said that the best way to honor him was by winning the seat.

Madam Ophelia Quansah, the wife of the late MP couldn't control her tears as she mourned for her late husband and described him as a loving and caring person in the tribute she read.


The mother of the MP also mourned for his late son.

The MP was gunned down in a highway robbery which occurred at dawn when he was returning from a funeral. The armed robbers shot his driver as well.
News of his death was reported in the media following the break of dawn and it received widespread condemnation.
May his soul rest in peace.
