Intelligent and Confident: Ghanaians Praise Sam George for Outsmarting CNN’s Larry on LGBTQI Matter.

There has been a lot of comments and public opinions about the LGBTQI+ group in Ghana. This minority group have managed to seize our attention and they demand a legal instrument that permits their actions, gatherings and operations in Ghana. However, a recent poll in Ghana revealed that over 93% of Ghanaians don’t tolerate anything about the group. Indeed, they want them out of the country in toto. However, the group has gotten some 18 learned people in the country to defend them. Again, the Western world is looking closely as things unfold in Ghana.

This made America’s Cable News Network (CNN) interview Sam Dzata George, a leading parliamentary member in the anti-LGBTQI+ group. Larry ignorantly asked the Member of Parliament why a Ghanaian must be imprisoned for over 10yrs for being homosexual. The Member of Parliament read the constitution to Larry and made it clear to him that according to the anti-LGBTQI+ bill, one commits a second-degree felony for being LGBTQI+. And the punishment for a second-degree felony is 5years imprisonment, not 10yrs.

Larry was embarrassed for showing the world how ignorant and unprepared he was before starting the interview. Indeed, Sam George appeared ready and intelligent on the matter. Sam Dzata George has, since then, being praised by Ghanaians for such a brilliant and confident response. He appeared calm and composed in his replies. Ghanaians have really made their position clear on the LGBTQI+ matter and there is no way anybody is changing that.
