H.E. Dr. Bawumia, the current Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and aspirant to become the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party for the 2024 general elections, has already dug his grave of defeat in the 2024 elections should he be elected as the N.P. P.'s flagbearer.
Prior to the 2016 general elections in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia, in partnership with Nana Akuffo Addo (as he was at the time), made unprecedented promises that were used to manipulate Ghanaians into handing the N.P.P political power in 2016 and 2020.
But, as the proverb says, "talk is cheap," and the result of Dr. Bawumia's leadership as Ghana's second in command has exposed everything.
The following are some of H.E. Dr. Bawumia's promises that have since been forgotten:
1) Within two years of the N.P.P. government, no village in Ghana will have a toilet or water problem.
2) Arresting the greenback?
3) A $2 billion sinohydro loan?
4) To build 570 dams in 2017?
5) Dwelling in the central region?
6) What is the location of Arport on the Cape Coast?
7) Each district assembly receives $1 million dollars per year?
8) By 2018, every Ghanaian will have a bank account?
9) What are the incentives for the private sector to participate in the economy?
10) What does agricultural industrialization and value addition produce?
11)To put measures in place that will lower the cost of doing business?
These, and other promises made by Dr. Bawumia to deceive Ghanaians in order to gain political power in 2016, are being patiently awaited in his own currency.
He should remember that his cemetery of deception, which he dug, is eagerly waiting for him if the N.P.P.
Choose him to be their presidential candidate in 2024
