Ghanaians react as NPP bigwig dares Mahama: I will quit politics if you go to court over 2020 polls

The 2020 election should have been over after the Jean Mensa led Electoral Commission declared Nana Akufo-Addo as president-elect but that appears not to be the case. The NDC and it's flagbearer John Mahama has refused to accept the declaration claiming that the results are fictionalised and there was manipulation. It remains to be seen if Mahama will go to court with many including Jean Mensa urging him to go to court to resolve his grievances. The deputy director of communications for the NPP Richard Nyamah has dared Mahama to go to court and if he does he will quit politics.

Richard Nyamah speaking on the NDC and their stance on the just ended election said they have no evidence to seek redress in court. He said Mahama's action and stance on the outcome of the election a mere ploy to position himself as the automatic candidate to lead the NDC in 2024. Richard Nyamah says all NDC is doing is to have those who would have contested against him like Prof Alabi as his campaign manager and Haruna Iddrisu as majority leader.

The deputy NPP communicator says the NPP has its own issues with the election and will head to court. He questioned why the NDC can't do same. He says he will put his political career on the line and will quit politics should Mahama go to court. He also said there is nothing Mahama can do to become President and has boldly declared that he will stay in opposition for another 4 years whether he likes it or not. Below are some of his words.
