2 Controversial Things Maa Lydia Said In Two Days

Pictures are for illustration purposes only.

The Honorable Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan has said some two very controversial things in the past two days.

Prior to these sayings, the Member of Parliament has been quiet and carry herself with poise and great dignity to the extent that her opponents said she never spoke in parliament.

The member of parliament who spoke on 25th November 2020 at American House in East Legon, noted that children who completed JHS do not need their parents because of free Senior High School policy.

That statement is controversial at best. How can young children of between 14 years to 17 years not need their parents because of free Senior High School policy?

The ruling government must know that free SHS policy does not solve the many problems which plagued our dear nation.

In debate with other parliamentary candidates today, the Honorable MP, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan was quoted to have used unsavoury words on her direct opponent, NDC's John Dumelo.

She stated in twi that John Dumelo has "no sense" in a heated debate about dredging of choked gutters in her constituency.

The reactions from the Ghanaian public has been bad news for the Honorable Member of Parliament.

John Dumelo however has so far shown nothing but respect for the widow and her camp.

Who wins the fight to parliament at Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency?

It is a tough call and with the ruling government solidly behind Lydia Seyram Alhassan, John Dumelo has a tough task on his hands.
