The Bono Regional Minister Honorable Awo Banahene gathered Chiefs in the Bono Region in a meeting and begged them to help Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo's government to succeed. This is because she sees Chiefs as an embodiment of power, unity and development.
Throwing more lights on the meeting, Honorable Banahene added that, the Chiefs are the ones living with the whole community. Their influence is great and their power can never be underestimated.
Upon assumption of office, this is the first time she gathered all the chiefs into such a crucial meeting. The Bono Regional House of Chiefs President, Nana Oseadeayor Agyemang Badu also promised that, the Chiefs will cooperate with the government for the development of the country.
He Also pledged unity and support for the newly Appointed Bono Regional Minister Honorable Awo Banahene. Other Chiefs in the meeting were the Wenchi, Drobo, Berekum and other paramount chiefs.
