The Former Progressive People's Party (PPP) Parliamentary Candidate, George Akwasi Amankwah Marfo joined his ancestors on Friday morning, October 1, 2021.
George Akwasi Amankwah Marfo really established himself as one of the best commentators on radio in the country by his famous appellation style of sports commentary which was extremely unique.
He was a teacher by profession and sports host.
He has worked very hard with a lot of radio stations in Ghana and they are; Radio Biyak, Peace FM, Kapital Radio, Luv FM, Hello FM, Breeze FM, Time FM (Obuasi), Safoa TV and until his death, he was with Bosome FM at Akim Swedru.
The cause of George's death isn't known to the public but during the past weeks, he has been unwell and that made him die on Friday morning.
George Akwasi Amankwah Marfo popularly known to be 'Spanky' on radio died on October 1, 2021.
