The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has underscored the requirement for the two political parties in the nation to work together for the benefit of everyone of the country and further assistance Ghana’s vote based system to develop.
He said having assumed a part in building Ghana’s democracy system to this level, numerous Ghanaians were not, at this point interested in partisan politics.
He said individuals anticipated the two primary ideological groups – the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) – to put the interest of the country in front of their parochial advantages by teaming up more for public turn of events.
Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin is a Ghanaian politician who is the current Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana. He was the Minister for Health in Ghana government from January 2012 to February 2013 when Hanny-Sherry Ayittey assumed control over the position.
He filled in as the Member of Parliament for Nadowli West voting constituency in the Upper West Region of Ghana in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh parliaments of the fourth republic of Ghana
