Akufo-Addo charges IGP to apprehend killers of MP at all cost

Ghanaians were very sad to hear the news of the sudden death of the late Ekoh Quansah Hayford, who was a member of parliament of Mfatseman Constituency. The MP was shot when they were attacked by armed robbers on his return from a campaign in his constituency. This incident happened in the Abeadze Dominase-Abeadze Duadzi Mankessim Road.

President Akuffo Addo visited the family of the late Ekoh Quansah to sympathize with them. During the visit, the president charged the Inspector General of police to apprehend the murderers of the late Ekoh Quansah. The president, in his visit, also stated that the death of the late MP "is a big blow to me and this is why I have made it known to the Inspector General of Police that if nothing is done about this particular case, what will happen will happen" 

The president declared openly that the Government will take the responsibility to cater for the welfare of the wife and children of the late MP.

An announcement from the public relation Directorate of the Ghana police service has it that, the Inspector General of Police has placed a huge sum of 20,000 Ghana cedis on the head of the murderers of the late Ekoh Quansah Hayford.
