Prepaid meters installation in the Krobo municipality has become one of the challenges in the country after they organized a demonstration against the government and warned ECG not to send representatives to the community.
Just in a video posted by UTV Ghana on their Facebook page. The people of Krobo have organized a meeting to protest against the ECG and the government. In the meeting, the Chiefs representative issued a strong message to the ECG.
In the list, they called on the government to withdraw all the military officers in the community because the people are leaving in fear and panic.
Again, call on ECG to stop the installation of the prepaid meters because it is against their right.
After the video came out some Ghanaians also shared their views. According to some of the comments if the people of Krobo don’t want ECG to install the prepaid meters then the option is simple they should stop supplying them electricity. Secondly, they should remember we are not in the stone age anymore.
