Renowned man of God who is the Founder and General Overseer of the Alabaster Prayer Ministry known as Prophet Isaac Kofi Oduro has given a sharp U-turn after he slammed and criticized the government due to the abnormal increase in the deadly COVID-19 cases.
It could be recalled that, during last week’s Church service, the popular man of God descended heavily on the Nana Addo led government following the massive increase in the case.
According to him, the government of Ghana shouldn’t be ‘Hypocrite’ to put the Blame on other gathering in town as he said last year’s Campaign tours and elections breed the virus and not other gatherings such as Funeral, weddings, parties and other as said by Nana Addo.
However, his speech didn’t go down well for the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party who lost in the just ended Election in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, Hopeson Adorye as he descended heavily on him and added that, the conduct in which Prophet Kofi Oduro addressed the issue was very bad and disrespectful as far as the President of Ghana was included.
He however asked the Man of God to apologize to the President for disrespect him during a Facebook live.
Lo and behold, The man of God have respected the appeal and apologized to the president Nana Addo during a Church service today.
According to Prophet Oduro, he never meant to disrespect him with his speech.
“His Excellency, we honour and regard the high office of presidency and we honour you as a distinguished gentleman that stands in that office...We would at no time .. I repeat at no time be disobedient or castigate you in anyway.. it will not happen ..that day the reason your Excellency is because you know what we preach here will not allow us .. we preach order we preach discipline..we preach obedient we preach submission..we preach the word of god ..we preach the fear of God .. we are ready to go to heaven and therefore your Excellency we will never disrespect you .”
