The opposition NDC's National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has told Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings, MP for Klottey Korle, that the party's leadership will take strong steps to bring her mother, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, back to the party.
During the one-year remembrance event of the loss of her father, the late founder of the NDC, Jerry John Rawlings, Zanetor made a heartfelt plea to the NDC Elders that her mother be brought back to the Party to improve their chances of wresting power from the NPP.
In thanking the Party for its support since her father's death, Zanetor encouraged the Party to always remember her late father, who had given no sign that he would die the manner he did.
That, she claims, is sufficient proof that we must reconcile with those who have harmed us or who have wronged us.
On his part, National Chairman Ofosu Ampofo told the legislator that the Party's leadership will do everything possible to bring the former first lady back.
