Joyce Bawa Mogtari aide to former President John Mahama has come out to say that former President John Mahama was demonized by the current government- New Patriotic Party (NPP) for President Nana Akufo Addo to win. Speaking in an interview, she made it known that the insults rained on John Mahama when he was President was never been seen before.
He made it known that in London she heard all sorts of noises. She had a certain description of John Mahama and this made her wonder if he was the same man they were talking about. She always wondered where the contradictions were coming from. It was so obvious that they were missing something. " But I look back on it now and realized that clearly, this was largely because someone wanted to become President by all means, and in so doing has to demonize another person. Just so he could come out as the better individual" she said.
She later added that there was "dum-sor" when the 2016 election was approaching and no Ghanian liked it. No leader is going to be happy with the power outages. She pointed out that in spite of all these the dollar didn't go down. Now the dollar has depreciated about thirty percent against the US dollar. Do you agree with what Bawa Mogtari is saying? Was John Mahama demonized by the NPP?
