In today article I bring you exciting news because Kwabena Jumah, a son of the managing director of GIHOC Distilleries Company Ltd, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, tied the knot with the third daughter of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, over the weekend.

The President and his wife Rebecca Akufo-Addo stood as representative of the bride, while Kofi Jumah, stood for the bridegroom during the traditional marriage ceremony. A clip of the ceremony with President Akufo-Addo asking Nana Dokua’s consent to the marriage has been shared on social media. President Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo are seen in another video clip shared on social media dancing with the newlyweds.

Social media reports suggest the marriage, was conducted at the Presidential Villa of the Jubilee House, with a few guests, including relatives, cabinet members with their wives, and close friends. Some dignitaries that attended the traditional marriage included Vice President, Dr Mahamadou Bawumia and wife Samira Bawumia, Chief of Staff to President, amongst others.

The rather low-profile marriage did not attract the usual public spectacle as many were unaware of it as the first family appeared to keep it simple and modest
