The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central constituency, Hon Isaac Adongo on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress has disclosed that he is disappointed and disagrees with the majority in parliament for endorsing Ken Ofori-Atta, the finance minister appointed by Nana Akufo-Addo which has create another matters arising in the country.
The member of parliament who has been silent for sometimes now has angrily spoken with the media to expressed his concerns over the approval.
He said Hon Ken Ofori-Atta was the "epitomy" of the economy of Ghana which has fallen and he was not expecting his colleagues MPs to endorsed him as finance minister again.
According to him speaking to the media, he was the last person to endorse Ken Ofori-Atta and he was absent from parliament, and he did not go to parliament to signed and approved him as a minister too.
He stated that he was so disappointed with the decision by the majority in parliament to let Ken Ofori-Atta pass through because he "collapsed the economy" and raised "useless Bond" in the past four years which did not help the country.
Hon Isaac Adongo said that "if there should be someone who will put his life on the line" even if he is "asleep to get Ken Ofori-Atta from office" they should "wake him up any day".
According to him, there are a lot of "credible people in the NPP" who can help revive the broken economy and he is "waiting" for ken Ofori-Atta in the coming days.
Hon. Isaac Adongo is known for criticising Ken Ofori-Atta and NPP in the last Akufo-Addo government. He has been hard on ken Ofori-Atta all days which Ghanaians thought he is trying to work for NDC but now people could believed that he is working for his motherland.
When being asked on the position of his party, he stated that he can't do anything about that but he meant that he respect their views but he disagree with the approval of Ken Ofori-Atta.
Many Ghanaians will asked that why should some NDC MPs Disagree in approving Ken Ofori-Atta and other too were happy at the same time?
