"I am disappointed in the police" - Keta MP after second attack

Member of Parliament (MP) for the Keta Constituency, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey has communicated his disappointment about crafted by the Ghana Police Service subsequent to enduring a subsequent burglary assault in a space of one month. "I am disappointed in the police, how can I be attacked twice" , he said. 


As indicated by him, the Police since December 11, 2020, has not gained any ground in examinations concerning the primary burglary assault he languished distinctly over his business and staff to be looted and hurt on tenth January, 2021. 


"I am not intrigued with crafted by the Police in finding the individuals who assaulted me in my home a year ago. The Police CID should be on the ground and gather data to help their examinations. They need to function admirably and discover the offenders in question", he said. 


Kwame Dzudzorli anyway placed that he doesn't censure the police for not gaining ground in the examination. 


Talking in a meeting with Samuel Eshun, host of the Happy Morning Show broadcasted on e.TV Ghana and Happy 98.9 FM, he said; 


"I should be obtuse here; as far as I might be concerned, the police are not progressing admirably and I don't accuse them. Per their records, they don't have the vital coordinations to take care of their job. The separation from my home and filling station to the police headquarters is a short one, yet every burglary occurred inside an hour and they (Police) couldn't make it as expected". 


The MP conceded that the assaults had influenced his children and given them restless evenings. "They're upset both sincerely and mentally" 


Furnished men on Sunday, January 10, broke into the Rootsenaf Gas filling station at Satsimadza close to Agbozume in the Volta Region and carried off a measure of GH¢7,000, a siphon activity firearm with a safety officer at the filling station supporting discharge wounds all the while. 


The filling station which has a place with MP for Keta Constituency, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey makes it the second theft in a month to be endured by the MP subsequent to being assaulted in his home on Friday, December 11, 2020.
