Everyone was expecting the current Finance Minister under His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah's Administration, Ken Ofori Atta to appear before the house ( Parliament) to answer questions about how covid 19 fund was used by the NPP Government headed by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addon and His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
However, Honorable Ken Ofori Atta did not show up. Speaking about the failure of Ken Ofori Atta to appear before the Parliament, Speaker Alban Bagbin bold speaks about the message he received from Ken Ofori Atta for being absent. According to the speaker of Parliament, the message of Ken Ofori Atta's inability not to come to parliament was made know to him but that will not reserve his decision which was made already.
" I am aware about that Ken Ofori Atta will not make it today in parliament. That was what he told ( He cannot come). But the decision remains the same. The speaker of Parliament has banned all motions in the house which will be presented by the Finance Ministry until Covid - 19 expenditure is accounted and this cannot be reversed". - Speaker Stated.
