The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has bodly declared that he predicted the current happenings in the country last year and it has come to pass when people were not interested to hear it.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on Metro TV good morning Ghana show today, has stated that he predicted the Power outages last year in November but people couldn't take him serious and it is now happening live which is "crazy" to the country.
He stated that last year he predicted that and said the power sector is owning a lot of money and if care is not taken, there will be a lot of power crisis next year because in December, he stated that the government is owning power producers about 1.7 billion cedis.
According to him, Volta River Authority is owning 300 million dollars the last time he checked and this is so crazy if something is not done about it.
He said it is obviously clear that Ghanaians are worried and the government must find the resources needed for the very institution which can generate the power for the country.
He questioned that revenue collected by PDS for a couple of months, where is that money?
According to him, that money alone can solve a lot of problems for the power sector which has been hide from the nation.
He told Ghanaians that they should stop politicizing everything that is in the country because if former President, John Dramani Mahama could have won the 2020 election and this power crisis come back again, they will tag him as the "incompetent" leader has come again but now what are they saying to the current leader President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo?
He said Ghanaians should stop such Politics because it is pulling the country back especially the Political Parties (NDC and NPP) must stop it.
